What we’re looking for

People with an analytical mindset who aren’t afraid to ask the hard questions. Full-time and part-time positions are available.

• Starting Salary – $85,000 while training, increase to $100,000 once meeting KPI (approx. 6 months)
• Location– Canberra office-based. You will be required to work in a Top Secret environment and due to the sensitive and highly classified nature of the information seen and the work completed, working from home cannot be accommodated.
• Anticipated start date– April – June 2025

About the role

Your role will be a Security Vetting Analyst where you will make assessments and recommendations about an individual’s suitability to hold the highest level of security clearance in federal government.

As a Security Vetting Analyst you will:

• Undertake the vetting security clearance process for allocated cases within specified timeframes.
• Research, organise and conduct face-to-face interviews.
• Perform detailed analysis and assessment and make recommendations in a high-level written report of a candidate’s suitability to hold a security clearance.
• Identify and assess risks and anomalies.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
• Have strong interpersonal and communication skills, a high attention to detail and accuracy, and high levels of integrity and discretion.

Eligibility requirements 

• Australian citizenship.
• The ability to have or obtain an NV2 national security clearance initially and PV/TSPA in the future.
• The ability to obtain a Certificate IV in Government Security (Personnel Vetting).
