Woomera Aboriginal Corporation is looking for an Early Childhood Teacher in Albury NSW.

At our Preschool, Koori Kindermanna, we are passionate about creating a warm, supportive, and enriching environment where young children can explore, learn, and grow. Our dedicated team is committed to fostering a love of learning and promoting the social, emotional, and intellectual development of every child. We are seeking an enthusiastic and nurturing Early Childhood Teacher to join our team and make a positive impact in the lives of our children and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities that foster growth in all developmental areas.
  • Observe, assess, and document children’s progress, tailoring the curriculum to meet individual needs.
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues to create a supportive community.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Participate in professional development to continuously improve skills and stay updated on early education best practices.

About You:

You are an energetic, compassionate educator with a passion for working with young children. You bring creativity, patience, and a nurturing approach to the classroom, and you are dedicated to fostering a positive learning environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent qualification recognised in Australia) or working towards same
  • Current NSW Working with Children Check
  • A current satisfactory National Police Check
  • Prior experience working in a childcare/preschool environment
  • First Aid, CPR, and Anaphylaxis qualifications (or willing to obtain)
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
