  • 0.8 – 1.0 FTE by negotiation 
  • Theme Program Manager Level 1 – 5, $96,484 – 104,705 (pro rata) plus superannuation as per the superannuation guarantee levy.

NRM North is seeking a Water Program Manager to coordinate and implement NRM North’s Water Program and projects and to support and foster relationships with relevant key stakeholders identified within Program plans.  

 

Leading a small team, the Water Program Manager – TEER manages and provides leadership for the Tamar Estuary and Esk Rivers (TEER) Program including management of the program’s governance systems, partnerships, finances, communications and stakeholder relationships. The role also provides oversight and leadership for projects in the marine, estuarine and freshwater fields as delegated by management.

The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience: 

 

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science or similar and/or equivalent work experience relevant to role. 
  • Demonstrated experience in natural resource management principles and practices. 
  • Experienced, highly motivated self-starter with strong project management and analytical skills. 
  • Exceptional skills in leading and motivating a team in pursuit of common goals. 
  • Strong administrative skills including the capability of managing and maintaining robust governance procedures and arrangements; and,   
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills. 
  • Coxswain Certificate or the ability to acquire.
