Warehouse Storeperson

Your role

As a Warehouse Storeperson in the Air Force, you’ll be responsible for the procurement, warehousing, stock control and dispatch of equipment and supplies. You’ll use your multi-tasking and logistics management skills to ensure materiel, purchases, and databases are managed so that exercises, humanitarian work, and operations run smoothly.

Your duties may include:

• Managing supply computer databases and statutory accounts.
• Processing base demands for general stores and aircraft spares.
• Purchasing – including electronic purchasing, raising of purchase orders, processing of claims, and maintenance of funds control ledgers.
• Operating forklifts in the loading and unloading of stores.
• Storing, issuing, packaging, dispatching, and transporting materiel.
• Receiving, issuing, and ordering equipment.
• Performing inventory control, data validation and correction, and stocktaking.
• Administering supply including correspondence and voucher processing.

Salary

Upon completion of initial military and employment training, you will enjoy a salary package starting from $71,750.

Location

Following training, you may be posted to one of the major Air Force bases around Australia, such as RAAF Base Amberley, Williamtown, or Edinburgh.
