Amtek West is an Australian owned and operated company. We specialise in building customised vehicles for a range of Government and private clients including Ambulance WA, WA Police, St John’s Ambulance, Royal Flying Doctor Service, Medical Edge Patient Transport, Disability access, Retirement & Nursing homes, Special needs schools and many more

We are currently recruiting for experienced and or qualified relevant Trades to ensure we can provide quality and timely products to our clients.

The successful candidates  will need to be motivated, reliable, genuine and committed to achieve high standards of fit and finish to all our vehicles. You will need to work well within a team environment, take direction, have high attention to detail and exhibit pride in your work.

Role Requirements

The successful candidate will need to be motivated, genuine and committed.

• Assist to assemble a wide range of purpose-built vehicles
• Assembly and fitting of vehicle accessories such as side steps, seating flooring, handrails, wheel chair hoists, ramps etc
• Highly skilled with experience in a similar role or work duties
• Able to work against schedules and timelines
• Assist in the repairs and maintenance of products
• Your own hand tools are required for this role.
• This role requires you to be physically nimble to work on all areas of medium to large vehicles.
• Vehicle industry Trade and  experience preferred

Experience and or Qualifications needed 

Experience in a similar industry would be highly desirable.

Auto Electricians – experience essential. Qualification and licence preferred

Vehicle Body builder – experience essential. Qualification and licence preferred

Fabricator – experience essential. Qualification and licence preferred

Trade Assistants – experience in a similar field required.
