Technical Property Claims Assessor

Make a difference as a Technical Property Claims Assessor

Your Role  

This is a pivotal role to ensuring IAG deliver an industry leading claims experience to both our customers and partner relationships. You’ll be required to support customers with settlement and repair of complex or large loss domestic property claims, working closely with our External Partner Network ensuring damages are scoped and repaired in accordance with policy guidelines, this also includes mid repair monitoring and review of finalised repairs and/or customer escalations.

This is a permanent position, we are looking for applicants who reside in or around Dubbo, servicing our customers in the Great Central West region.

 About You 

•    Carpentry Trade Certificate or a qualification within the Building or Construction Industry desirable, along with relevant experience to match.
•    Possess ability to adapt to corporate expectations, perform in a rigorous insurance environment and manage responsibilities autonomously
•    Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
•    Negotiation, verbal and written communication and influencing skills
•    Good computer and internet skills
•    Valid driver’s licence
