The Minister for Skills and TAFE, the Hon. Gayle Tierney MP, is pleased to invite applications for part-time positions on TAFE Boards.

The Victorian TAFE Network is the benchmark for quality and innovation at the centre of the Vocational Education and Training system, and the first choice for industry, employers, and students. The TAFE Network is supporting increased growth and productivity for Victoria by delivering high quality skills, adapting to meet emerging skills needs, and providing economic participation opportunities for all Victorians. TAFE Boards play a critical leadership and governance role in implementing and extending the greatest skills legacy of our state.

Individuals with skills, knowledge and experience in the following areas are encouraged to apply:

• Corporate governance and leadership
• Higher education and vocational training
• Financial management
• Strategic thinking and innovation
• Community and industry engagement
• Strategic risk management and audit

Board directors are eligible for remuneration in accordance with the Appointment and Remuneration Guidelines published by the Department of Premier and Cabinet and the Education and Training Reform Act 2006.
