The ideal candidate must be highly motivated, have excellent communication skills, and have professional or life experience in supporting people with disabilities.

The role:

• Personal hygiene care
• Meal preparation & light domestic duties
• Transportation & community access
• Behavioural & mental health support
• Provide culturally sensitive  assistance within our diverse clientele
• Provide accurate client records & maintain confidentiality

Essential requirements:

• This is an identified role. Applicant must be of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander decent.
• Able to provide proof of vaccination against COVID-19
• Possess or be willing to apply for NDIS worker screening check (Yellow card) and working with children check (Blue card)
• Recent completion or willing to undergo immediate First Aid and CPR training
• Current drivers licence and reliable vehicle
• Current national police check

Desirable requirements:

• Cert III/IV in disability/individual support or related courses
• Flexible work availabilities including evening shifts and sleepovers
