Senior Research Officer, Queensland Parliamentary Library

Your Primary Objectives

  • Assist the Director to deliver a responsive research service that provides excellent client service.
  • Provide the Parliamentary Library’s clients with confidential, high-quality, and relevant research.
  • Lead and/or assist the Director with library projects and implement innovations.

Your Reporting Relationships

You will report to the Director of Research and Information. Your role will include assisting with providing direction, and guidance to the research staff. You may also lead specific projects as delegated by the Director.

Qualifications

A tertiary qualification in an appropriate discipline, such as law, economics/statistics, environmental studies, humanities, public policy, science, etc., is required, and postgraduate qualifications are desirable.
