Position Title:  Senior Investigations Officer – Level 1

Location:  Brisbane and Maroochydore

Remuneration:  $101,174  – $109,783 per annum

There are multiple permanent full-time vacancies, working as AO5 Senior Investigations Officer – Level 1, in either the Brisbane CBD or Maroochydore office. Working in a collaborative team environment, this position will see you conduct and contribute to investigations and audits to ensure compliance with Queensland’s revenue laws or make determinations on complex matters. You will also assist team leaders and managers in leading compliance teams in the treatment of risks to Queensland revenue, as well as identifying new or emerging risks and making recommendations for their treatment.

There are no mandatory qualifications needed for this role, although to be successful you will need:

• the capability to analyse, interpret and apply legislation.
• experience in an audit, investigation, administrative decision making, legal or similar role, preferably in a financial or tax environment.

• a working knowledge of digital and data technology/systems
• the capability to apply your own knowledge and skills to solve problems collaboratively.

The positions are based in our Brisbane and Maroochydore offices and flexible work options may be requested.
