Senior Early Years Coordinator – Hume Merri-Bek Area

We’re seeking an enthusiastic Senior Early Years Coordinator to join our dedicated NDIS Services Team. This role involves managing and delivering Partner in the Community Early Childhood Coordination services within the Brotherhood of St Laurence (BSL) Disability Services portfolio. 

  • Location: Hume Merri-bek Area (HMA) region – based at our BSL NDIS Hume Merri-bek office (Broadmeadows, VIC 3047).
    The role will involve working across sites within the service area.
  • Salary: A competitive remuneration package ranging from $109,846.69 – $114,695.78 per annum + 11.5% superannuation and $13,000 vehicle allowance.
  • Type of Employment: Permanent, full-time (38-40 hours per week).

ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE

As a Senior Early Years Coordinatoryou are responsible for the delivery and implementation of Partner in the Community Early Childhood Coordination Services in a defined geographical area. You will lead a small specialist team of Early Years Coordinators, serving as a subject matter and practice expert in one or more areas of developmental delay and/or disability.  

Within your role, you will mentor Early Years Coordinators across the department on best practice; ensuring the development of staff expertise and delivery of a high-quality service.

As a Senior Early Years Coordinator, you will work with children experiencing developmental delay or disability. Together with their families, you will help to build their strengths, develop opportunities and promote access to the right supports at the right time.

ABOUT YOU

We are seeking applicants who have: 

  • Relevant tertiary qualification (Diploma, Bachelor or equivalent) or experience working in the community with either children, families, or individuals with disability
  • Demonstrated understanding of the NDIS, the early childhood approach and the ECIA best practice guidelines
  • Highly developed administrative skills
  • Experience in customer facing environments that support or provide services to the community
  • Demonstrated skills in conflict resolution and change management
  • Extensive knowledge and application of early childhood development, developmental delay and the early intervention service sector
  • Experience in mentoring and coaching team members
