Senior Advisor (Media)

You will:

Prepare compelling media materials & digital content, encompassing speeches, media inquiries, statements, campaign & event materials, & internal training resources & other public materials as required

Research, plan, & create contemporary communications for media &/or other channels as required

Provide strategic advice for complex and sensitive matters to executives & stakeholders, considering public sentiment, whole-of-government policies & modern communication solutions

Build strong & productive relationships with content providers & internal/external stakeholders to ensure timely release of relevant & engaging content

Manage, review & evaluate current processes, practices, digital media campaign initiatives, media content and strategies to ensure TMR’s business priorities & strategic goals are delivered in an efficient, effective and engaging way

What we’re looking for:

Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, corporate affairs, journalism, or similar, or at least five years of experience in a similar role

Experienced in strategic messaging, copywriting, speechwriting, & editing for a range of communications channels

Demonstrates strong stakeholder engagement & management abilities, including the ability to provide clear strategic advice in achieving communication objectives

Possesses strong organisational, resource, & time management skills

Developed business & political acumen and emotional intelligence

Salary range and classification

Per annum – $116,538 to $124,688
Per fortnight – $4,466.90 to $4,779.30
Plus, super and leave loading benefits.
