Project Coordinator

About the role:

The purpose of the Project Coordinator is to provide senior leadership support to all MacKillop Family Services programs in the Pilbara and NT due to the unprecedented growth and to support the important external stakeholder relationships particularly with our valuable Aboriginal Controlled Community Organisations (ACCOs).

The position is situated within the Pilbara (South Hedland) Office. The position reports to the Manager Pilbara & NT Services.

The Project Coordinator will work closely with the Manager, Principal Practitioner, Coordinators and Team Leader (Darwin).

This is an Ongoing Full-Time opportunity based in Port Hedland, WA within our Pilbara Family Support Services Program. The position reports to the Manager Pilbara and NT services.

Key Selection Criteria:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture and values and an awareness of the current issues faced by Aboriginal children, young people and their families.
  • Appropriate tertiary qualification with extensive relevant experience. Alternatively, lesser formal qualification with considerable skills and extensive relevant experience, including Aboriginal people with lived and professional experience
  • Project coordination or management experience.
  • High level stakeholder engagement, relationship and management skills

You must have a:

  • Valid and current Driver’s Licence;
