Program Officer, Indigenous Languages (Identified: First Nations)

Under the guidance of the Coordinator, Indigenous Languages, you will work collaboratively with the First Nations community and other key stakeholders, fostering connections and supporting language revival efforts throughout Queensland.

Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing programs, engaging with community members and organisations, and showcasing our Indigenous Languages collections. You will both lead and support, public outcomes such as an annual Indigenous language symposium, regional workshops, and targeted programs and events. This role is essential in documenting and preserving language knowledge while amplifying the voices and stories of Queensland’s Indigenous communities.
