YOUR ROLE – Professional Performance Coach & Workshops Facilitation

  • Working in this purpose-driven business, the Professional Performance & Workshops Coach assists military leaders in developing awareness to be their best. To help them reach their ultimate potential to grow, change and be extraordinary leaders.
  • Working with psychometric diagnostics, dovetailed with your formal tertiary and coaching experience, you will assist our military officers in building emotional resilience and strong leadership skills to achieve Social Mastery, enhancing their arduous performance during their arduous training program and beyond.
  • The Professional Performance & Workshops coach will assist military personnel in developing their resilience and leadership skills by delivering dynamic, bespoke workshops and professional development presentations.
  • Working in this purpose-driven business, you will co-design, develop, and facilitate interactive workshops that build emotional resilience, performance under pressure, and vital leadership skills, as well as assist in helping officers learn in their preferred way to enhance performance during their training programs and beyond. Personal and professional ‘soft skills/social mastery’ development aids in creating strong military leaders.
  • Working with military Officers and leaders, you will roll out and manage bespoke workshops to inform training pathways and approaches. As required, you will effectively communicate the aims, activities, timelines and outcomes with all relevant stakeholders.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will work in a collaborative team of performance coaches who will support you in delivering evidence-based, job-specific content that involves practical and ‘hands-on’ learning for the participants.  You will also be part of a collaborative team providing ongoing coaching support to maximise their learning, development, and overall performance. Soft skills are the personal and professional development that help individuals become good military officers and strong military leaders.

ABOUT YOU

  • You will be passionate about people and want to make a difference;
  • Be intrinsically motivated – do the things you do because you love what you do;
  • You want to work autonomously and take initiative but have support when you need it;
  • You are highly reliable and organised and value the importance of building relationships;
  • You have a qualification in coaching and five years of experience in internal or external coaching;
  • You have at least five years of experience in workshop design, facilitation and delivery;
  • You have Tertiary level qualification in a related discipline;
  • You have a keen interest in coaching individuals to maximise their performance under pressure
  • Experience in psychometrics (behaviour, emotional intelligence) is desirable but not essential;
  • You may be a veteran who is an experienced coach and workshop facilitator (not essential)
  • Defence exposure – desirable but not essential
  • Australian citizen
  • ** Note: The ability to obtain an Australian Government security clearance Negative Vetting 1 is mandatory for this role.
