Principal Advisor (Governance)

We are in search of a seasoned Principal Advisor (Governance) who is eager to take on the challenge, adept at leading change, and will be instrumental in promoting a culture of ongoing enhancement throughout our organisation.

Salary Per annum – $130,407 – $139,830

Plus, super and leave loading benefits.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic Development: Lead and support aspects of the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of organisational governance strategies, reforms, and activities.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Management: Build and develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration to facilitate successful governance initiatives.
  • Governance Advisory Services: Provide technical advice on governance best practice and compliance, organisational frameworks, policies and processes and risk management practices to support robust decision-making. Develop and deliver training and other products for capability uplift of governance and compliance functions and activities.
  • Governance Assurance: Research, assess and evaluate the effectiveness of governance and performance practices to identify compliance gaps and drive process improvements.
  • Team Leadership: Manage the performance and development of a team to create a safe and healthy workplace culture, optimize productivity and performance, and deliver efficient and effective customer centric products and services.
  • Adaptability and Emotional Intelligence: Possess highly developed emotional and social intelligence and the ability to adapt to change, navigate ambiguity, and retain composure in high-pressure or uncertain situations
