Power Station Operator Maintainer – Mechanical or Electrical

About the role

Zenith Energy is seeking a full-time Power Station Operator Maintainer – Mechanical or Electrical to join our team in WA. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the ongoing operations and maintenance of our renewable and thermal power stations. Whether your background is in mechanical or electrical disciplines, we welcome applications from experienced and adaptable candidates who are passionate about maintaining reliable power to our clients

What you’ll be doing

• Operate, monitor and maintain power generation equipment,
• Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance tasks to keep the power station running smoothly
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues, and carry out corrective maintenance as required
• Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company procedures and relevant regulations
• Provide relief coverage for other operators and maintainers as needed
• Support the continuous improvement of operational and maintenance practices

What we’re looking for

• Formal qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a relevant trade certification
• Significant experience in the operation and maintenance of power generation equipment, ideally in a commercial or industrial setting
• Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• A commitment to workplace health and safety
• Flexibility in fly out start days (e.g. Monday – Monday or Wednesday – Wednesday)
