We’re seeking an enthusiastic Office Coordinator to join our dedicated NDIS Services Team. As the first point of contact for callers and visitors to the office, this role is responsible for providing an efficient, positive, professional and welcoming environment within the Brotherhood of St Laurence (BSL) Disability Services Division.
- Location: Western Melbourne Area – based at our BSL NDIS Wyndham Office (Werribee, VIC 3030).
- Salary: A competitive remuneration package ranging from $76,195.24 – $81,702.37 per annum + 11.5% superannuation.
- Type of Employment: Permanent, full-time (38-40 hours per week).

ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE
As an Office Coordinator, your role is a pivotal function in the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). You are responsible for providing professional and efficient administration support and customer service. You will ensure quality and reliable systems and procedures are developed in order to support team members based at the office.
As the first point of contact for callers and visitors to the office, you will provide a positive, professional and welcoming environment. You will work closely with Senior Managers to ensure the office is operating effectively through the efficient coordination of administration and business operations. As an Office Coordinator, you will be responsible to oversee general day to day tasks in order to maintain a safe, efficient and well-functioning work environment.
ABOUT YOU
We are seeking applicants who have:
- Proven experience in an intake, data entry or administration role
- Highly developed administrative and time management skills
- Proven experience working in a team environment that require for staff to pivot from one task to another flexibly and within short notice
- Demonstrated experience in providing professional and friendly customer service to the community in customer facing environments
- Lived experience with disability or awareness of the impact of existing or acquired disability upon individuals, families, carers and the community
- Highly developed communication, listening and relationship building skills
- Experience in working alongside community towards common goals
- Confidence using a variety of computer programs and equipment and ability to enter information accurately
- Experience with highly accountable processes that are subject to external review
