National Fundraising Coordinator

  • Blend adventure with purpose, based in Australia’s Top End
  • $75,000 – $105,000 including super (full time preferred)
  • 5 weeks annual leave, plus additional study leave, salary sacrifice and relocation options

The Role

This vital role will help to grow AMRRIC’s philanthropic and fundraising community to allow the organisation to achieve its goal of ensuring all people in rural and remote Aboriginal communities feel proud, safe and secure through improved animal and human health.

A member of the Communications and Philanthropy team, the successful candidate will support the implementation and coordination of the AMRRIC philanthropy and donor engagement strategy. You will be responsible for assisting with acquisition campaigns and creating and delivering new opportunities to deepen engagement with existing supporters, including driving growth of the AMRRIC Allies monthly giving program.

The National Fundraising Coordinator will be responsible for implementing the community fundraising strategy by engaging and supporting individuals and organisations to participate in and raise funds through community fundraising campaigns.

About Us

AMRRIC (Animal Management in Rural and Remote Indigenous Communities Ltd) is an established, national not-for-profit organisation based on Larrakia Land in Darwin. Our small team of dedicated staff deliver a diverse range of programs covering community and animal health and welfare, education and training, academic research, strategic planning and advocacy. We work with remote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities to improve the health of their pets, helping to create healthier and safer communities.

The Opportunity

  • Contribute to the delivery of AMRRIC’s philanthropy and engagement strategy.
  • Help deliver fundraising campaigns and content, across a variety of channels.
  • Help generate ideas that increase fundraising revenue and donor loyalty.
  • Administer our Customer Relationship Management Platform to ensure accuracy of information and for campaign and reporting purposes.
  • Activate AMRRICs fundraising procedures and processes.
  • Support the Head of Philanthropy and Engagement as required, in pursuit of WCS fundraising activity.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
