Logistics Officer

Your role

As a Logistics Officer in the Air Force, you’ll be responsible for the planning, coordination, and management of logistics support and supply chain activities. You’ll contribute to the Air Force on a strategic and tactical level, ensuring the successful distribution of supplies, advanced technology, and sensitive materials.

Your duties may include:

  • Planning and executing supply chains, warehousing, distribution, movements, and catering support to operations and exercises.
  • Leading and managing diverse groups of personnel in the fields of logistics, movements, and catering.
  • Managing information and overseeing contracts.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships and networks.

As an Air Force Officer, you’ll also be trained to become an inspirational leader and mentor, equipped with highly sought-after management skills.

Salary

Upon completion of initial military and employment training, you will enjoy a salary package starting from $90,629.

Location

Following training, you may be posted to one of the major Air Force bases around Australia, such as RAAF Base Amberley, Williamtown, or Edinburgh.

For this role, you must be at least 17 at the time of enlistment, an Australian Citizen, and have passes in Year 12 English and three other approved subjects.
