About the Role
The Junior Integration Engineer role assists the team to resolve Integration incidents which may occur as part of daily operations. This entry-level role is focused on learning and gaining practical experience in IT integration engineering while assisting with routine integration engineering tasks such as analysing, supporting, triaging, implementing enhancements or bug fixes on integration services. They work with the Integration Engineers to obtain knowledge on the P3 and P4 integration incidents, the integration governance, documentation, and BAU / operational support procedures. This role works primarily within the integration platforms team but may work in partnership with cross-functional teams or business users in triaging incidents.
About You
As the Junior Integration Engineer, you will:
- Provide responsive and customer-centric technical support to resolve integration-related issues, minimise disruptions, and optimise system performance, and escalate issues as required.
- Work closely with Integration Engineers and Platform Manager on incidents assigned to them to identify the issue and the required resolution.
- Resolve integration incidents using appropriate tools, middleware, and protocols while adhering to established standards.
- Obtain a peer-review approval from the integration engineer to ensure consistent methodologies are followed and to implement recommendations where necessary.
- Perform thorough testing and validation of integration solutions to identify and resolve issues, ensuring data integrity and adherence to quality standards.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues that may arise during integration work to maintain optimal system performance, and report status and resolutions to the Senior Integration Engineer or Platform Manager.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- Relevant tertiary qualification; Or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through any other combination of education, training, and/or experience.
- Exposure to developing and implementing integration solutions across diverse integration technology landscapes and embracing DevSecOps.
- An understanding of integration tools, middleware, and protocols.
- Foundational knowledge of capabilities such as:
- Boomi AtomSphere – Integration and API Management
- AWS native data streaming, APIs and microservices
- Eager and passionate in collaborating with senior staff to gain valuable skills and broaden their knowledge.

Remuneration & Benefits
Base Salary Range: $94,476 to $102,293 pa (HEW 6)
This role attracts 17% superannuation in addition to the base salary.

This position is full-time and appointment will be made on a continuing basis.
