Indigenous Service Desk Team Leader

In this role, you will manage a team of agents, assisting them with the technical aspects of their calls, tickets, and general user interactions

To be successful in this role, some of the broad roles and responsibilities may include:

  • Ability to communicate with empathy, efficiency and accuracy will be invaluable in this role.
  • Ability to support staff in a timely manner and provide troubleshooting steps or identify pathways to progress
  • Identify skill and knowledge gaps within your team and take appropriate steps to uplift and upskill staff
  • Balance your workload between team support and admin/project work to implement shift-left initiatives in a practical manner

We’re interested in hearing from people who possess the following:

  • Strong technical knowledge of operating systems, software applications, and hardware components.
  • Strong leadership characteristics with the ability to inspire a team and lead by example
  • Understand risk culture and ability to adapt to the groups risk appetite
  • Clear verbal & written communication, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear, user-friendly manner.
  • Proven de-escalation tactics and conflict resolution skills with real examples
