A little bit about Aboriginal Hostels Limited (AHL)

Since 1973, AHL has provided safe, comfortable, culturally appropriate and affordable short-term accommodation for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples. We have a network of 45 hostels all across the country in regional, remote and metro locations. This particular vacancy is at our Tony Mundine Tertiary Hostel in Leichhardt (Sydney NSW).

A little bit about the role (Housekeeper)

We have an immediate Housekeeper opportunity available for motivated individual to join our hostel team in Leichhardt.

We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, energetic, and passionate about creating a home-away-from-home atmosphere for our students. As the Housekeeper, you will undertake daily Housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, welcoming and homely environment.  We know that cleaning is not for everyone, but we also know that there are people out there who love to clean – if this sounds like you, we encourage you to apply!

What’s on offer

– Job stability in an ongoing (permanent) role within the Australian Public Service (APS Level 2);

– Starting salary at $50,975 pa PLUS;

– Part-Time hours (9am to 3:30pm Mon to Fri);
