About headspace
Our headspace services are a busy and innovative youth mental health service providing a variety of mental health, medical, sexual and other health related services as well as vocational, functional groups and social services to young people aged 12 to 25 years and their families.

About the Opportunity

The headspace Quality Officer will guide and implement continuous improvement activities across our headspace services. You will manage document control processes, implement, and support accreditation and fidelity reviews and embed best practices and compliance.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Relevant qualification with minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role within a health services environment
  • A proven understanding of mental health services and accreditation and fidelity measures
  • Highly developed IT skills and the ability to interpret data, create reports and implement registers.
  • Prior experience or, at a minimum, demonstrated commitment to working respectfully with Indigenous and culturally and linguistically diverse clients, communities, staff, and Aboriginal controlled organisations.

Please note this is a short term (5 months) contract – 4 days per week.

Please note: It is a requirement that prior to commencing in this role, you must possess a Working with Children (Ochre Card), a National Criminal History Check (within 3 months) and a current Northern Territory manual driver’s license.

Experience of working closely with and having a strong understanding of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander culture would be considered an advantage.
