About you

For this role, we will consider how well you:

  • are able to research and rapidly acquire knowledge of the Crime and Corruption Act 2001 and other legal areas relevant to the operations of the CCC including, privacy, human rights , judicial review, civil procedure, employment law, procurement and contract law;
  • have the ability to collate and analyse information and legal issues, to make high quality decisions and judgments when drafting legal advice to meet agreed timeframes;
  • have developed written communication and organisation skills required to prepare briefs of evidence, legal process documents, submissions and reports, and correspondence covering complex legal and factual issues;
  • have developed your interpersonal and oral communication skills, including the ability to work autonomously and co-operatively in a multi-disciplinary team, to liaise and consult effectively with other officers in the CCC; and
  • have the ability to manage conflicting priorities and meet deadlines in a high-pressure work environment.
