Location: TAFE NSW Ultimo, George Street, Ultimo

Duration: 8 weeks

Study type: Full-time

Start date: 14th October 2024

Study commitment: 10 hours per week

Course description:

Students will learn a broad range of practical skills and technical knowledge across a variety of vessels, enabling students to work as a deckhand on a small vessels. The maritime industry offers exciting career options and allows you to travel the world.

You will participate in a 2 day works shop that will help you develop your skills for the rapidly changing world of work.

  • Practical experience on a vessel.
  • Sea survival skills.
