The Opportunity

Join our united Apprentice Connect Provider division, Australia’s largest single provider, and be part of our thriving mentoring services team.

Based in either Broome, Karratha or Kalgoorlie, this dynamic First Nations Customer Service Officer – Mentoring Services role involves inbound and outbound calls to provide support and mentoring to our apprentices, trainees and clients as well as various administration and compliance tasks.

The purpose of this highly rewarding role is to assist the apprentice, trainee and employer to complete their Australian Apprenticeship as you guide clients to persevere through obstacles and help them achieve their career goals with a strong focus on diverse backgrounds and youth.

About you

You will bring your passion for customer service and trailblazing experience in employment services, community services or a call centre environment including:

  • Ability to foster positive relationships with various external stakeholders including apprentices, employers, and parents/guardians
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to provide exceptional mentoring and guidance
  • Strong problem solving skills and ability to interpret and assess information
  • Proven experience in meeting set targets, KPIs and customer service standards
  • Previous experience in youth/social work highly regarded
