Business Analyst

  • Salary $118,925 to $139,100 plus 15.4% superannuation

The team

The Registry Interactions & Services (RIS) team sits within ASIC’s Legal Services group.

The team performs a range of registry support functions to ASIC’s Registry Operations team and ASIC regulatory teams.

RIS is a key source of support to the Registry Connect Program to stabilise and uplift the ASIC registry services, as well as other registry-related projects.

RIS also provides a wide range of register support functions for the companies and professional registers, including compliance programs and transaction assessment and processing functions.

The role

As a Business Analyst, you will be required to work closely with business subject matter experts (SMEs) and ASIC project representatives to elicit and analyse business requirements to discover the underlying business needs and project requirements, specify and document requirements and user stories.

You’ll lead continuous improvement initiatives, make recommendations, and manage the change process associated with changes in systems and processes.

About you

We are looking for someone with the ability to engage with business users to understand their requirements, identify opportunities for process improvement, solve complex issues, make recommendations, and write policy and procedure documents.

You’ll need to have experience working as part of a project team, in a dynamic project/program environment.

Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
