Your opportunity

The Queensland Family and Child Commission (QFCC) is implementing Queensland’s Child Safe Organisations (CSO) system including a mandatory child safe standards scheme and a reportable conduct scheme as outlined in the new Child Safe Organisations Act 2024 (the Act).

In this role you will work with regulators and peak bodies to ensure the necessary capacity building strategies are in place for each phase of the rollout of the scheme. You will draw on strong engagement skills and show agility and innovation to support regulators and peak bodies to implement the legislative framework.

About your responsibilities

In this role you will:

  • Deliver administrative and project support for programs of work in a high-volume work environment with tight deadlines to ensure strategic and business outcomes are achieved.
  • Respond to and resolve inquiries and issues to ensure the provision of accurate information and the timely and effective resolution of issues.
  • Assist in scheduling meetings and forums, preparing agendas, taking minutes and ensure follow up on actions.
  • Develop, implement and monitor administrative systems and procedures, adapting processes and techniques as required, to facilitate efficient team operations in line with agency standards, policies and procedures.
  • Assist with researching, analysing and preparing documentation and reports to the Executive where there are conflicting high-level commitments and competing priorities to support informed decision-making and planning.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders, and achieve individual and team goals by meeting KPIs, setting clear objectives and recording outcomes.
 Remuneration $3,365.00 – $3,688.00 per fortnight

$87,790 – $96,217 per annum
