About the Opportunity

The Administration Support Officer provides administrative, practical, and logistical assistance to the East Arnhem Children’s Services (EACS) management unit based in Darwin along with associated remote based services. You will provide professional, culturally respectful and friendly phone, Teams and face to face assistance, help with reporting related data entry and periodically assist with Head Office reception, events, functions and or other administrative processes

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Certificate in Business / Administration Studies or equivalent
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a relevant role such as reception and or business administration
  • Ability to compete financial tasks (petty cash / purchase orders) and travel / accommodation bookings, maintain records (maintenance, MV and equipment usage), enter data into systems and arrange freight logistics.
  • Ability to take meeting notes, collate data and information for reports and produce resources such as newsletters, forum programs and meeting agendas.
  • Ability to work respectfully and collaboratively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, their families, communities, staff, and Aboriginal controlled organisations.

Please note: It is a requirement that prior to commencing in this role, you must possess a Working with Children (Ochre Card), a National Criminal History Check (within 3 months) and a current NT manual driver’s licence.
