- Full time 12-month fixed term position to provide project coordination support to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Employment and Engagement Team

- Base Salary $104,633+ 17% superannuation

About the opportunity
The Senior Project Officer will provide project management support to assist with the coordination and the effective implementation of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Employment Plan 2022-2024. In this role you will be responsible for coordinating multiple project stakeholders and manage effectivecommunications to ensure project deliverables are achieved.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive and accurate project plans that ensure consistency and alignment with project objectives
- provide project management specialist support and advice to contribute to the planning and establishment of projects
- create and issue internal and external stakeholder engagement plans to support and promote the project
- maintain productive relationships with diverse internal and external project stakeholders, while implementing strategic communication plans to ensure stakeholders are informed and engaged
- generate detailed project activity reports and proactively implement necessary changes to ensure consistent progress towards milestones and timely delivery of project deliverables.
About you
- demonstrated experience managing multiple internal and external stakeholders
- proven experience in project coordination including communication plans to internal and external stakeholders
- excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to negotiate and influence
- high levels of attention to detail with the ability to work autonomously and work collaboratively with team members
- experience monitoring and tracking budgets and expenditure.
