About the Organisation

Ninti One Limited (Ninti) is a leading Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander management and consulting not-for-profit that works with communities and agencies to achieve social and economic development outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples’. Since our beginnings in 2003, Ninti has been building opportunities through research, innovation, and engagement in Australia – and more recently in a range of sectors across the Asia-Pacific region where Ninti translates its learning from working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities to a range of international contexts.

About the role

This role requires an experienced Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander candidate to support Ninti’s strategic direction to increase Indigenous participation in international development programs in the Asia Pacific region. With excellent program and partnership development skills, the International Development Advisor will work in a strategic and dynamic environment with the Ninti Team and international partners to design initiatives, develop reports and plans, write proposals to attract funding, oversee delivery of our current projects and represent Ninti at external meetings, engaging in partnership development.

About you

Ninti’s ideal candidate will have strong cross-cultural skills with networks across Australia. They will have an understanding of project management, business development and the ability to work collaboratively and build partnerships with a diverse range of stakeholders. They will have the ability to design and develop proposals and assist in increasing Ninti’s brand and reputation across sectors and industries, administrative and communication abilities.

If you have experience working and engaging across multiple levels of an organisational structure, as well as an understanding of cultural, political, economic, and social issues affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples’, your experience will be highly regarded in this role.
