The Role

This position sits within the Energy Policy Group which oversees the provision of innovative and quality advice and initiatives that shape the energy sector for the benefit of Western Australians now and into the future.

We are seeking a motivated candidate with policy experience who can facilitate, guide and support statewide on‑Country engagement, building authentic, respectful two-way partnerships that are place-based and collaborative allowing Aboriginal communities to actively participate in both contribute to and benefit from Western Australia’s transition to clean energy.

You will be involved with a variety of projects and engagement activities relating to the Pilbara Energy Transition Plan, which aims to accelerate the achievement of a rapid, orderly and equitable transition to renewable energy in the Pilbara.

Your high standard of policy development, along with your strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement abilities, will be crucial for your success in this position. You will work alongside Traditional Owner groups and local communities to enhance policies and programs, ensuring they deliver meaningful and lasting benefits from the energy transition.
