Position Title:                   Lead Developer – Policy and Projects

Location:                            South Brisbane

Remuneration:                 $129,089 to $138,273 p.a.

An exciting opportunity exists for the following temporary flexible full-time position of Lead Developer to join Victim Assist Queensland.

As the Lead Developer, you will play a critical role in driving innovation and operational excellence at VAQ. You will implement and manage processes to ensure the proactive development, design, continuous improvement, and maintenance of VAQ’s information systems. This includes leading the strategic planning and execution of software development projects, ensuring systems are robust, scalable, and aligned with organizational goals. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide technical expertise, and deliver high-quality solutions that enhance productivity and user experience. Additionally, you will oversee system integrations, security protocols, and performance optimization to support seamless operations and future-proof the organization’s technology infrastructure. Your leadership will also extend to mentoring team members and fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
