Position Title:                   Director

Location:                            Brisbane, Flexible

Remuneration:                 $161,770 – $169,261 p.a.

As a Director, you will manage and lead people and allocate resources to effectively accomplish the work goals and review performance.

Your contribution:
As the Director, you will lead the Environment Policy and Legislation team of professionals that play a key role in maintaining Queensland’s biodiversity and the conservation of wildlife. You will be responsible for preparing advice to the Minister and leading challenging stakeholder negotiations on complex conservation policy and legislation issues.

About you: 

• Demonstrate high-level technical capabilities in complex strategic policy analysis and development, public policy processes and legislative development and interpretation relevant to environmental policy.
• Demonstrate extensive experience in preparing high-level written communication including complex and sensitive material.
• Demonstrate high-level ability to lead team members and manage resources.
• Have expertise in strategic thinking.
• Have high-level experience in liaising, consulting and conducting significant negotiations with a broad range of stakeholders.
