The team

Information Technology Services provides a wide range of IT facilities and support services to ASIC. We are undertaking major technology projects that will transform our business and continue our significant technology transformation in several areas such as virtualisation, mobility and cloud. We are currently managing and supporting a large SAAS Sharepoint Online system.

The role 

As the SharePoint & Power Platforms Development and Support Analyst, you will be required to:

  • Develop & support ASIC’s SharePoint Online and Power Platforms environment as well as applications that have been developed in Power Platform
  • Resolve high severity tickets and issues reported on SharePoint and our automation solutions
  • Be comfortable with direct business engagement. You may need to conduct requirement gathering meetings to understand business processes in order to create automation solutions using Power Platforms.
  • Develop automation solutions using Power Platform and possibly other available workflow automation solutions such as Ivanti
  • Learn and support various other small SAAS solutions that are also managed and supported by the team. This is not only a Sharepoint and Power Apps support position
  • Learn other applications that are managed by the team and support them

 

About you

 

  • Extensive experience in SharePoint Online support
  • Experience in development required, languages such as C or VB etc.. (We would like you to have development experience, and we will provide you training in Power Platforms development and administration)
  • Extensive experience in troubleshooting technical issues level 2 and 3
  • Good communication skills, experience in dealing with various business stakeholders, requirements gathering and managing business stakeholders’ expectations
  • Experience in the following technologies is considered advantageous: C# .NET, SPFX Development with React, jQuery, JavaScript and Angular, Ivanti Platform
  • Highly developed analytical skills
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to adopt a client focussed consulting approach in order to develop technology led strategies and solutions
  • Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to new requirements and situations in both the internal and external environments
