As the leader in workforce development initiatives for our industries, Services and Creative Skills Australia (SaCSA) collaborates with industry, union, and government stakeholders to identify and articulate current and future employment trends and develops solutions that best serve the needs of the Arts, Personal Services, Retail, Tourism and Hospitality sectors.

Your new role

You will report to the Manager of VET Engagement & Implementation

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop collaborative relationships with education & training providers to align workforce planning objectives
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and execution of the VET stakeholder engagement strategy
  • Represent the combined interests of core stakeholders in driving VET design and reform.
  • Engage with RTOs to understand their challenges and reporting consultative solutions
  • Lead working groups and collaboratively participate in committees, roundtables, workshops, forums etc.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Relationship/Stakeholder Management skills and a network within the VET sector
  • Experience working within the Australian Vocation Education and Training (VET) sector (Highly Desirable) which may have aspects of any of the following: quality/compliance, resource development/instructional design, & Training/Assessment.
  • Experience undertaking research, data analysis, technical writing and corporate/government reporting.
  • Relevant Qualification (such as a Cert IV in Train & Asses), supplemented with competencies in Australia’s VET sector
