Chief Operations Office Traineeship

Do work that matters
As a Chief Operations Office Trainee in the Chief Operations Office Indigenous Academy, you will undertake a 12-month traineeship, working fulltime with a view to moving to a permanent role at the successful completion of your traineeship. You will be supported to train on-the-job, complemented by accredited Certificate studies in Business.

As a Trainee in our Chief Operations Office Indigenous Academy, you will be completing processes that fulfil critical services for our customers including the establishment and discharge of loans, processing payments and grants, and verifying details to progress product applications.

With a focus on simply and safely meeting the needs of our customers, you will have –

  • A keen eye for detail and a curiosity and confidence to seek clarification
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to keep accurate reporting
  • Demonstrated care, courage and commitment and be an energetic contributor to team meetings
  • Good communication skills, communicating with internal and external stakeholders
  • Desire to learn more about the organisation and further develop project skills

We’re interested in hearing from people who

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Can demonstrate competency in use of MS Office suite including Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Possess a learning mindset
  • Working with a team to meet the needs of our customers while completing a Certificate Qualification
