Aboriginal Engagement Coordinator – Goldfields

The role

As the Aboriginal Engagement Coordinator – Goldfields, you will plan and lead the activities of the Goldfields Aboriginal engagement team to provide high quality and professional services to stakeholders in your region.

  • Coordinate and lead the team to ensure effective and meaningful engagement services are provided to the local community on behalf of the Aboriginal Engagement and Economic Development teams.
  • Use community connections to continually drive high quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
  • Contribute to ensuring consistency of work practices and procedures across the regional teams and supports the development and appropriate implementation of the branch’s community engagement policy direction, strategies and plans.
  • Identify opportunities to support existing programs and projects across the Department where an opportunity to empower Aboriginal people exists.
  • Maintain stakeholder databases and ensures the accuracy of information captured in these.
