About This Opportunity
An exciting opportunity is available for a Lecturer / Senior Lecturer / Associate Professor in Art History to join the School of Communication and Arts. In this role, you will bring an embodied Indigenous perspective to teaching, research and service and engagement. The School respects Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ unique knowledge and knowledge systems which are foundational to Australia’s intellectual, social and cultural capital. About You

The successful candidate will be required to provide evidence to confirm that they are an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person.
The successful candidate should possess a PhD in a relevant field in Art History or closely related field. Additionally, candidates will have demonstrated teaching and research experience in the relevant area, and service and engagement skills, as outlined in the information booklet.
The successful candidate may be required to complete a number of pre-employment checks, including: right to work in Australia, criminal check and education check.
