What we’re looking for
The main responsibilities of this role include:

  • Design and build large, complex data sets and models to meet business needs
  • Develop and implement data models and pipelines using Google Cloud and dbt, ensuring alignment with best practices
  • Create high-quality SQL code from business requirements
  • Manage real-time data sources, such as clickstream data
  • Handle high volumes of data effectively and efficiently
  • Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure data solutions meet business objectives
  • Leverage Python for data integration, modelling, analysis, and pipeline development
  • Use data integration tools like Fivetran to streamline processes
  • Develop and maintain data visualisations using Tableau (preferred), PowerBI, or Looker

What you already have

  • 2+ years of experience using dbt, with a focus on best practices
  • Demonstrated expertise in SQL for data modelling
  • Proficiency in Python for data-related tasks
  • Experience with data integration tools such as Fivetran
  • Proficiency in data visualisation tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience with cloud technologies, particularly Google Cloud Platform
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Sharp business acumen and critical thinking skills
  • Attention to detail and a curious, problem-solving mindset
  • Familiarity with Snowplow or other Customer Data Platforms (CDP)
  • Ecommerce experience is highly preferred, however not mandatory
