<p>The Lecturer B – Resources and Infrastructure is responsible for the development and delivery of innovative VET programs underpinned by the Batchelor Institute Both-ways principles of practice as well as contributing to delivery of approved training programs within the areas of the Resources and Infrastructure and Civil Construction.</p>
<p>In addition, the Lecturer B – Resources and Infrastructure will assist the Senior Lecturer – Resources and Infrastructure with particular duties:</p>
<ul>
<li>Teaching, management and facilitation of culturally appropriate training and learning activities;</li>
<li>Student assessments, maintenance of student records, supervision of students, and monitoring student progression;</li>
</ul>
<p>In addition, the Lecturer B – Resources and Infrastructure will assist the Senior Lecturer – Resources and Infrastructure with particular duties:</p>
<ul>
<li>Teaching, management and facilitation of culturally appropriate training and learning activities;</li>
<li>Student assessments, maintenance of student records, supervision of students, and monitoring student progression;</li>
<li>Liaison with students, community and industry partners;</li>
<li>Participate in activities and all requirements of the Division of Further Education</li>
<li>Development of appropriate teaching resources and assessment materials.</li>
</ul>
<p>The successful candidate must possess a relevant vocational qualification (see third bullet point below), combined with a minimum of 5 years Industry/professional/vocational experience.</p>
<p>The successful applicant will hold</p>
<ul>
<li>The minimum vocational teaching qualification Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40110 (or equivalent) and/or Diploma or higher level qualification in adult education</li>
<li>The Working with Children Clearance (Ochre Card).</li>
<li>Engineering Trade Certificate with capacity to teach High Risk licenses, Cert III in Civil Construction (Plant Operations) and Certificate I and II in Automotive Vocational Preparation</li>
<li>NT White Card</li>
</ul>

<p>The Indigenous Health and Pathways Lead will be a key staff member in the Three Rivers University Department of Rural Health developing and leading program activities to increase the number and success of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and rural students studying health careers, fostering a strengths-based education and research agenda for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health and strengthening the cultural competence of nursing, midwifery, allied health and dentistry graduates.  The Indigenous Health and Pathways Lead will be critical to developing and fostering internal and external relationships that support Indigenous student success as future health professionals. The role will support the Director of the UDRH in stakeholder engagement, promoting the UDRH and delivering the Parameters of the Funding agreement. The position will involve extensive engagement with the health care community, Faculties and Schools, and partners in the UDRH to respond to the needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and communities.</p>
<p><strong>To be successful you will have:</strong></p>

<li>A relevant degree, with substantial experience</li>
<li>Significant knowledge and understanding of Indigenous health and education gained through industry experience and/or scholarly activities or similar</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to provide effective leadership</li>
<li>Demonstrated high level analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to build strong partnerships particularly involving multiple health professional disciplines</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to lead and manage projects using exceptional planning, organisation and time management</li>

The AWO will have a role in developing and implementing robust systems and process to underpin these principles, standards and obligations as well as training and educational initiatives relevant to legislation and guidelines.</p>

Effective leadership of the Research Office is essential to ensure excellence in research higher degree candidature management, research grants and contracts administration, research finance and commercialisation, research information management and reporting, research compliance and research policy development. These activities are undertaken through active liaison with internal and external stakeholders and a strong communication program.</p>
