About The Opportunity

Diversity of thought is incredibly important to us, which is why we’re offering a 12 month paid ‘all-you-can’ learn internship within our Assurance & Advisory business aimed specifically at individuals with finance or accounting backgrounds but those without. The one thing we ask you to be is ambitious and hungry to learn.

You’ll join a large cohort of other Interns and be rotated across our various teams within Advisory. You’ll be coached and mentored every step of the way; get to work on high profile client projects; and learn everything there is to know about accounting and finance, treasury, regulation and retail conduct.

After 12 months training with our team of Specialists, we look to offer those successful through the program, permanent opportunities within our team. Your Deloitte career starts here!

About The Work

As an Intern, you’ll get to:

  • Carry out research, data collection and analysis to understand client issues.
  • Work collaboratively within teams to form hypotheses and deliver tailored ‘and Different’ solutions.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports and presentations to clients.
  • Contribute to thought leadership materials, business development activities and innovative projects.

About You

You’ll be an innately curious person who’s a team player and always up for a new challenge. You’ll also be:

  • Tertiary qualified
  • An insatiable appetite to learn – you stay on top of the news and current affairs, learning tools and market intel
  • Articulate and confident in your ability to express your ideas
  • A quick learner who can easily apply new knowledge and skills in a commercial and pragmatic way
  • Proactive and can demonstrate exceptional problem-solving and investigative skills
  • Incredibly resilient and able to cope with ambiguity and competing priorities whilst still performing at your best
