The Manager (Faculty Operations Team) is accountable for planning and management of resources and activities related to the development and implementation of a broad range of administrative operations within the Faculty. The position will supervise staff working in the Faculty and Schools, with responsibilities including financial transactions, casual staff contracts, prizes and scholarships, and procurement. You will oversee the provision of timely information and support to the Associate and Sub Deans, Heads of School, and the Faculty Executive Committee. The position will ensure the Faculty is compliant with University regulations and policies, and the incumbent is expected to interact professionally and knowledgeably with University administrative Divisions on behalf of the Faculty. As a leader within the Faculty Administration Team, the Manager provides resources and support to other areas of the Faculty as required.

- Demonstrated ability to lead and work collaboratively, in problem solving, reporting and analysing within multidisciplinary and multi-located teams and across other areas to achieve continuous improvement

The Faculty Office is responsible for ensuring that the entire Faculty operates cohesively and efficiently, and is developed in accordance with the strategic objectives of the University. Located within the Faculty Office is the Executive Dean, Deputy Dean, Associate Dean, Sub-Deans, Executive Officer, Faculty Administration Manager and administrative support staff. Oversight of administrative staff in the Faculty is the responsibility of the Faculty Administration Manager, who notionally allocates professional/general staff to Schools and has the flexibility to move resources between schools and functions to cover workload peaks.
