- $66,079 – $72,230 p.a (pro-rata)

As Librarian, Information Services you will work within a team to provide effective and skilled information and library support services, through various physical and online service modes. You will develop and deliver quality information literacy instruction to library clients, liaise with academics and educational designers to embed library and information literacy resources into courses and subjects, and provide individual support to clients.
To be successful you will have:
- A relevant degree and be eligible for associate membership of the Australian Library and Information Association or equivalent knowledge gained through a combination of education, training and experience;
- Exceptional customer service and provision of client focused information services; and
- High level digital literacy and ability to use technology to achieve business objectives.

The Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic (DVCA ) and Vice-President (Academic) is responsible for the operation of the Faculties and the learning support services at the University including the Division of Learning and Teaching and the Division of Library Services. This includes responsibility for the University’s course profile and, with Academic Senate, course and learning and teaching quality. The DVCA is also a member of the Vice-Chancellors Leadership Team.
The Office of the DVCA provides high level executive and administrative support to the DVCA and the portfolio.
The Division of Library Services supports the University’s ethos of ‘yindyamarra winhanga-nha’ – ‘the wisdom of respectfully knowing how to live well in a world worth living in’. We provide high quality information services and resources to support students, staff, and all members of the University campuses and its communities.
