Centre for Appropriate Technology Ltd is a progressive and innovative not for profit Indigenous business based in Alice Springs providing infrastructure and technology services to Indigenous people and remote communities across Australia. We currently have an opportunity for 2 Project Managers Infrastructure and Community Engagement (based in Darwin).
Reporting and working closely with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), you will be a hands –on, client focused, lateral thinker who provides project management and community engagement expertise through the development and implementation of multiple projects.
The successful candidates’ will be responsible for
- Managing budgets and resources
- Managing multiple projects
- Promoting stakeholder engagement
- Review of work methods and overseeing quality control
You will be suitably qualified with a relevant tertiary qualification (preferably in one or more of the following: remote renewable energy, telecommunications, remote water supply development and operation, remote housing and remote community infrastructure), with at least 5 years plus project management experience. Working within a cross cultural environment and understanding the needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people would be highly regarded.
