<p>As Lecturer in Exercise Science, you will be required to contribute to the effective coordination and teaching of undergraduate and/or postgraduate subjects in motor control and integration, strength &amp; conditioning and exercise rehabilitation and other courses delivered by the School to on-campus and online study students. The position includes expectations of a strong contribution to the School’s research profile through high research productivity for the level and is aligned with the strategic research focus of the School and/or the exercise science or clinical exercise physiology disciplines, as well as the effective supervision of research students. Administrative duties within the School and Faculty are also required. It is also desirable that the preferred candidate be eligible for Exercise Science membership or is accredited in Exercise Physiology or Sports Science with Exercise and Sport Science Australia (ESSA).</p>

<li>Ensure close liaison of the JIC Subsea Integration team with the JIC Pre-Operations and Systems Engineering teams to support development of tie-in and isolation strategies</li>
<li>Direct the JIC Subsea Integration team and supporting contractors in framing, development and collation of phase deliverables into suitable reports, presentations and decision support packages</li>
<li>Work closely with the JIC Supply Chain Management (group, identify engineering contractor/consultancy support requirements for pre- front end engineering and design (FEED) and FEED</li>
<li>Coordinate technical input to FEED contracting strategies and subsequent FEED tender package/s</li>
<li>Liaise with join venture partners through technology working groups, guidance groups, Chevron subject matter experts, other Project Engineering teams, project groups and stakeholders</li>
<li>Provide input to weekly and monthly reports in the areas of responsibility to allow accurate cost and progress tracking of phase 2 activities</li>

<p><strong>Key skills and experience required:</strong></p>

<li>Demonstrated ability to lead subsea engineering teams and identify and build key relationships with peers and stakeholders to deliver high performance business results</li>

<p><strong>Summary of program and its objectives: </strong></p>
<p>HIPPY is a two year structured home based early childhood learning and parenting program that empowers parents and carers to be their child’s first teacher. The program builds the confidence and skills of parents and carers to create a positive learning environment to prepare their child for school. The program also offers some parents and carers supported pathway to employment and fosters local community leadership.</p>
<p><strong>Main responsibilities of the role:</strong></p>
<p>The HIPPY Consultant position is responsible for the development of resources and training that support quality service delivery. The role provides ongoing support and visits up to 12 HIPPY providers to ensure delivery of a high quality program. The HIPPY Consultant will lead and participate in developing innovations and undertaking projects in order to assist HIPPY to achieve its goals and objectives.</p>
<p><strong>To meet the selection criteria, candidates will require:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>relevant tertiary qualifications in education, community or human services</li>
<li>demonstrated experience working in the early childhood, education, community or human services sector as well as in contract and project management</li>
<li>demonstrated experience in effective stakeholder management</li>
<li>knowledge of and experience in working with children and families</li>
<li>well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to deliver training and group facilitation</li>

<p><strong>The Organisation</strong></p>
<p>Established in 1981, SNAICC is the national non-government peak body in Australia representing the interests of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families. Their vision is an Australian society that promotes the rights of indigenous children empowering them to lead healthy, self-determined lives, connected to family and culture.</p>
<p>SNAICC has a dynamic membership of community-based child care, foster care and government agencies, as well as multi-functional early childhood, education and family support services, including reunification services and voluntary associations.</p>
<p>SNAICC also has a network and subscriber base of over 10,000 organisations and individuals from community based services and individuals as well as state and federal agencies nationally who share an interest in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and<br />
their children.</p>
<p><strong>The Role</strong></p>
<p>In its 40th year of operation the new CEO will represent SNAICC nationally in regards to Indigenous policy, reconnecting members to the mission statement and leading the SNAICC team. As an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander leader you will utilise your knowledge of the sector’s history and challenges and play an influential role in building organisational and sector capacity.</p>
<p>You will engage with Indigenous communities, government bodies, service providers and corporates and play a lead role in the lobbying of resources to ensure organisational financial sustainability and to achieve set goals.<br />
In this hands-on yet strategic role you will build on historical successes reporting to an engaged board and with the support of an excellent team you will continue the implementation of the organisational strategy whilst planning for the future.</p>
<p><strong>Skills Required<br />
</strong><br />
The successful candidate will be an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander with senior management experience and a proven track record in organisational development, ideally from within an organisation that promotes the rights and wellbeing of the Indigenous community.</p>
<p>Your previous experience will have given you a good understanding of the sector’s history and challenges and the ability to connect and build relationships with SNAICC’s membership base. You will be a well-respected member of the Indigenous community.</p>
<p>A track record in reporting to a board and leading an organisation that is politically aligned, funded by the government and highly sensitive to its stakeholders will be the key to your success in this role.</p>
